Digital Image File Checklist

If you are supplying your own scan or digital file, the image resolution should be set to at least 240ppi or ideally 300ppi and cropped to the actual finished print size.

File Types & Sizes

Images should be at least 300ppi at the exact size you want them to be printed (width x height), we recommend using the Adobe RGB (1998) colour space.

We recommend saving your images as either 8-bit or 16-bit Flattened Tiff or Photoshop PSD. Jpg’s are also acceptable but do NOT compress them.

If you’re not sure if your image will print to the size want for your prints, please feel free to send us your images and we’ll take a look and let you know the ideal size for printing.

Compression (Zip Files)
We don’t recommend compressing or Zipping your image files

Colour Space

We accept RGB files and print using RGB inks. If your files are in CMYK mode, please convert them to RGB before sending them through to us.

Ideally, 300 dpi at your desired print size, although the higher the resolution, the better the printing quality. Don’t worry if your resolution isn’t high enough – with our professional interpolation (enlarging) software we can enlarge the size of prints with minimum loss of quality.

Maximum Print Size

We are able to produce giclée prints up to 44″ / 1117mm wide (on the shortest edge), by almost any length.
