The National Trust have launched their annual photography competition for an image to adorn the cover of their 2020 members handbook. It is also the National Trusts 125th anniversary, making this a super and special opportunity. Calling all photographers, both amateur or professional, why not enter this fantastic competition and be in with the chance of winning. Not only does the winner have their photograph printed for all members to see (over 5 million people) but they will also be the recipient of £1,500 credit for National Trust holiday cottages. There is also a runner up prize of £500 credit for National Trust holiday cottages.
Entries are now open until the 1st September so you still have a few weeks to upload your entries. The judges are looking for a stunning image which show how the countryside and landscaped gardens or historic houses they look after can spark adventure, inspire us and change the way we feel.
Your photograph must have been taken in 2019 (you’ve still got a few weeks to take some day trips!) and be in a landscape format. You can enter up to 10 images each so there is plenty of opportunity to be in with a chance. It’s also worth noting that the focal point of the image should be in the right hand side of the picture. You can find more information about this and full terms and conditions on their website here.
To submit your image(s) to the National Trust photography competition email them to: [email protected] and you must supply your name, email address and/or phone number and where the image was taken.
