The 2018 Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize organised by the National Portrait Gallery, is open for 2018. Entries for this leading international photographic portrait competition must be received by 23:59 on Tuesday 12th June 2018.
The competition celebrates and promotes the best in contemporary portrait photography from individuals across the world. Amateurs, students and professionals are invited to submit their works.
Six photographs can be submitted per entrant, either black and white or colour pieces and entry is £28 per photograph. Initially, entry is via an online portal. Successful entrants will then be invited to submit their pieces to a London venue for physical judging. The competition has a reputation for creativity and excellence with the winner receiving £15,000. Additionally, judges (at their own discretion) may award other cash prizes to one or more of the shortlisted finalists.
